Annual Health Check

Regular health checks help detect potential issues early, ensuring your pet stays healthy, happy, and thriving throughout every stage of life.
Annual Health Check

At Bluebell Vets, we believe prevention is one of the best ways to keep your pet healthy and happy. Our Annual Health Check is designed to monitor your pet’s overall wellbeing, detect potential health concerns early, and provide expert advice tailored to every stage of their life.

Whether you have a playful puppy, a curious kitten, an active adult pet, or a senior companion, regular health checks help ensure they receive the care they need to enjoy a long, healthy life.

What Happens During an Annual Health Check?

During your pet’s appointment, one of our experienced veterinarians will perform a comprehensive nose-to-tail examination and discuss any changes in your pet’s health, behaviour, diet, or lifestyle.

Your annual health check may include:

  • Full physical examination
  • Weight and body condition assessment
  • Heart and lung examination
  • Eyes, ears and oral health check
  • Skin and coat assessment
  • Joint, mobility and muscle evaluation
  • Abdominal examination
  • Discussion of diet and nutrition
  • Behaviour and lifestyle advice
  • Vaccination review
  • Parasite prevention recommendations
  • General wellbeing assessment

Every consultation is personalised to your pet’s age, breed, lifestyle, and medical history.

Why Annual Health Checks Matter

Pets often hide signs of illness, making regular veterinary examinations essential. Annual check-ups allow us to identify subtle health changes before they become more serious.

Routine health assessments can help detect:

  • Dental disease
  • Heart conditions
  • Weight-related issues
  • Arthritis and mobility problems
  • Skin disorders
  • Ear infections
  • Digestive concerns
  • Lumps and growths
  • Early signs of chronic illness

Early diagnosis often leads to more effective treatment and better long-term outcomes.

At Bluebell Vets, we take a proactive approach to your pet’s health. During your visit, we’ll provide practical advice on:
